Home to some of the world's best beaches, Culebra offers scenic views and a bit of seclusion
Cons:
Don't expect Culebra to be much like Puerto Rico's capital city of San Juan -- it's much more laid-back
Bottom Line:
Culebra is an experience in and of itself, especially if you prefer unspoiled beaches to commercialized ones
Currency & Best Way to Get Money?
Currency is the U.S. dollar. Local banks and ATMs are readily available in the town center, Dewey, as well as at the Colmado Costa del Sol grocery store near the airport.
Language?
The official language of Culebra is Spanish, but most residents also speak English.
