Currency & Best Way to Get Money?
The Aussie dollar is the local currency, but ATMs are few and far between in some of the more remote areas. Kooljaman is the main eco-resort in the area and you'll find an ATM here -- the award-winning wilderness camp is well worth a visit even if you're not staying there.
Language?
The official language is English but the people in the Bardi Jawa community also speak Bardi.
