Surrounded by scenic mountains, Kandy is a mid-size city in Sri Lanka. Kandy has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is home to a number of sacred landmarks, including the Temple of the Sacred Tooth relic which is considered one of the holiest shrines in the Buddhist religion and the 14th century Temple of Gadaladeniya.
