We were very excited to try the new Edge class ship. We found some aspects to exceed our expectations and a few to fall short. Our primary disappointment's were with the Thermal suite and the optional complimentary evening dining venues . The thermal suite area was very noisy and not relaxing at all. The climate showers are not private. Being a coed environment is not favorable.

The Edge is a beautiful ship but I find the 11 night ABC island cruise to be very disappointing for a number of reasons: first, the food in the Oceanview Cafe was substandard, there was not alot of choice and the menus for breakfast and lunch remained the same for all 12 days. Further, not once were there cuts of roast beef set out for lunch.

We wanted to try out the new Infinite verandas and liked this 11 day itinerary. It was a perfect fit for our grandson’s two week Spring break. We went on the edge to see the new type of ship celebrity was putting out.The ship was beautiful. Everything was neat and clean. We booked this cruise because it stopped in Antigua where my family lived in the early 1960's. This was my 8th cruise on Celebrity, but my first in 20+ years.
