Never on Carnival again

Review for Carnival Elation to Bahamas

I have been on several cruises and this ship was the worst. I have cruised Norwegian and Royal Carribean and the food , entertainment was superior to the buffet food on the Elation. I took my daughter to her first cruise and I was embarrassed because of the lack of food variety at the buffet. (Choices were the same for the five days)/ I am scheduled to bring my granddaughter on her first cruise ...

This company has no integrity, tells you anything before boarding-once on board treats you as if your lying.

Before my husband and I got on the cruise we purchased: The build is bear (1) Picture package for $99:00 for 5 photos. When going to the build a bear appointment I was informed that it did not show that neither of us had pre-purchase. I let this pass even though I should not have. However, when our Pictures were displayed. I was yet again told there was no proof that we bought the ...

Need a vacation from my Elation Vacation

This cruise is entirely too small for the people that they pack in. The food lines were extreme, so you end up eating at odd hours to cut down your wait times. But there was always a wait. I waited 20 mins for a Turkey sandwich which when I bit into it, a large glob of fat was like bouncing rubber. There is only one very small pool for the entire ship and it is constantly packed. The water ...

First time cruising/ something to be desired

My husband and I went with seasoned cruisers since this was our first time. The ship itself was beautiful and most of the staff were welcoming and pleasant. However, the room stayed rather warm. This rocked and swayed really bad the first couple of days. . Glad I wore my ear patch. I asked twice for an extra pillow and did not get one, I had to get my ship card changed because it wouldn’t open my ...

I’ve done 20+ on carnival. I chose this cruise out of Jacksonville because it was reasonably close and cheap. No way would I do this cruise if I didn’t cruise several times last year. I was very surprised and delighted how it has been refurbished. Everything is very clean and painted, with little rust. Bedside charging outlets are new. Huge flat screen. The crew was superb. The ...

This ship and itinerary offers an affordable and pleasant cruise experience, providing expectations are modest & reasonable...There are few bells & whistles and flashy wows on this vessel but it's a solid cruise. The twenty-five year old ship is a nostalgic blast from the past, a reminder of what cruise ships were like back-in-the-day. Some reviewers say she looks tired and worn but I see the ...

My mother chose this cruise for mine and my sons first cruise for our Mother/Daughter trip. We were disappointed from the time we stepped in our cabin Suite U75. First, we had faster to the fun which meant our room should have been ready when we boarded ship at our appointed time of 10:30am. It wasn't ready until 1:30 pm. With a 4 year old and carry on bags made it difficult. Once we got to ...

The good- The boat was surprisingly well decorated on the inside and was pretty. The cruise director Neil was the funniest and most entertaining cruise director we have ever had. Iwayan our cabin steward was fantastic and the bed was comfy and inside cabin was spacious. Roy, Mario and David our wait staff all were excellent. The bad- I have been on 3 cruises with carnival within the last ...

I treated myself to a birthday cruise in October, 2022. The Elation is based within a decent driving distance from my home, and the price was right, even with the double charge for a solo cruiser. It was that cheap. Embarkation was very easy, and the port crew was very pleasant and efficient. My cabin, an ocean view with two small portholes (priced more closely to an inside than a ...
