I thought this would be a lovely cruise for a long weekend getaway with my husband with the hopes we could go several times throughout the year. NEVER AGAIN!! Service was terrible. On the island all of the bars were understaffed, rude, and inexperienced. At each bar we scanned the menu for what cocktails were available and was told every time at 3 of the bars they don’t have, can’t make, didn’t ...

Long lines and unprepared

The price, number of cays and destination were reasons for choosing. The lines for food and beverages were long. Often the buffets were closed or out of options. They ran out of ice and even water at the bar on their private island. I bought a cabana that evidently I shouldn’t have even though their app let me. So, they had to find another one, which was quite the hassle. Their lagoon closed ...

We flew down from NY to give MSC a try. I've cruised multiple times on NCL, once on Royal Caribbean, and spent 3 months on. Semester a Sea, years ago. The Seaside itself is a nice, modern ship. All of the facilities are in good repair and are quite attractive. The reality for this ship at present is that the Seaside is very understaffed. 15-30 waits at every bar. The late dinner seating had a ...

Would give negative score if was possible. We wanted to try something different, just stick with your favorite cruise line. Will never sail MSC EVER AGAIN!!! Food undercooked, never changed, had the same food for 4 days. Not what most normal people would eat. I'm really scared will end up with food poisoning. No decent dessert, had to pay for anything good. Wish I would have researched a little ...

Our son had us try Royal Caribbean because we are avid Carnival Cruisers. We were not impressed with the food, or service on this cruise. Not only were wait staff not friendly most were very rude to us and we watched them be rude to others. Even tipping good did not change their demeanor. Everything is extra on this ship. Toddlers could not play with older siblings in the water park and ...

Price was great but you get what you pay for. I do not think that MSC is ready for American primetime. Internet technology that is hit and miss. Internet did not work half the time, apps that did not work, card keys that did not function, and electronic billing that was all over the place. Customer service was terrible. Stand in line for an hour and get a shrug, and we will fix it before the ...

Unfortunately this was the worst experience for me and my family on a cruise ship. Since the moment we got to the terminal it was a complete chaos. It took us 1 and a half hour standing in the sun just to get into the terminal because of a “system problem” The ship ran out food, ice creams, cheesecake, hamburger buns, coronas, Baylee’s, etc. Dinner at the buffet one day was pizza, salad and ...

We were booked through a travel agent. Worse cruise line ever! Unorganized, we wasted more time in lines than enjoying a cruise. Everyone we spoke to said they would NEVER sail on with this cruise line. Service, crew’s attitude unacceptable! We waited 3 hours to check in, we did express check out ended up waiting 2 hours to check out. We were in line and then they let late people jump the line. ...

This is the second time in MSC cruise . It is the first time in the sea side, the other time was Meraviglia. This las time was a terrible experience, First we spent 3 hours to check in under the sun. Second every night that you had to go to the restaurant the lines to enter were 30 minutes and the food very poor. The bar services was too slow. The buffet, the food was very poor and they had just ...
