Welcome to the Capital City Aikido Website!
CCA is a club that exists solely to provide Aikido training for members.
We practice Iwama style Aikido, which includes the boken and jo, as created by the Founder Morihei Ueshiba and preserved by Morihiro Saito.

Our instructor, Ron Myers, 3rd dan, began training in Japan while serving in the Air Force and continued while in Hawaii. He trained with Donald Moriyama, 7th dan. Moriyama Sensei's instructor was Saito Shihan (9th dan) who was uchi-deshi (live in student) for 23 years of Morihei Ueshiba, founder of Aikido.
We are not-for-profit dojo. Our principal concern is providing a safe, honest and sincere environment where members can dedicate themselves to their training and particular goals, whatever they may be.
Rank comes as a by-product of dedicated training. If you are awarded a rank, you can be assured that you have earned that rank.
